south africa apartheid state is very different from israel's problems, u cant just copy paste the word apartheid here to there. Israel may consider letting palestinians have a state, the palestinians will consider only wiping out the jews or expelling them.

5 times in history when Palestine rejected Statehood; 1936: Arabs revolted against both the British and the Jews. the peel commission investigated the rebellion. 1937, the commission concluded: Jews and Arabs both wanted to govern the same land, the solution was to establish two separate States. Arabs got the better end of the deal. They were offered 80% of the dispute territory. The Jews had to settle for the remaining 20%. The Jews voted in favour of this offer, the Arabs declined the proposal they opposed of a Jewish State altogether. They continued with the rebellion. 1947: UN partition plan for Palestine, decade after the Jewish turn to the UN for a solution, the UN like the peel chose to divide the land. In November 1947, the UN voted for two States. Jewish accepted the offer; Arabs rejected again. The Arabs responded with an all-out war. Multiple Arab nations joined the conflict. Israel emerged victorious and started a nation building the West Bank East Jerusalem were meant to Arab State but became occupied by Jordan no Israel. 1967Arab nations, led by Egypt, attempted to destroy Israel this conflict was called the Six Day War. Israel won a remarkable victory, Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza came under Israeli control. The government was divided on the land’s fate. Some wanted to return to Jordan and Egypt for peace, others suggested giving it to local Arabs. Neither option made much progress. A few months later the Arab league met in Sudan, they declared the infamous three Nos: 1- no peace with Israel. 2- No recognition of Israel. 3- No negotiations with Israel. Once more, the Arabs rejected the two States solution. In 2000 camp David summit Israeli PM Ehud Barak and PLO chairman Yasser Arafat and Bill Clinton, Barak proposed two State plans initially, the offer defined a Palestinian State on 73% of the West Bank, it also included 100% of the Gaza strip. Over time, the Palestinian state would expand to a maximum of 92% of the West Bank. The Gaza strip would be separate from the West Bank East Jerusalem would be the capital of Palestine. The negotiators were closer than ever to reaching an agreement. Arafat rejected the offer. Clinton said: “Arafat was here 14 days and said no to everything.” 2008: final peace offer Israel made another attempt Ehud Olmert went further than Ehud Barak. He offered to give up the Temple Mount. He proposed a committee to oversee the religious sites in Jerusalem. The committee would be represented by 5 nations: Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine, U.S. and Israel. Mahmoud Abbas, like his predecessor, say, NO.

The conflict in Israel is a manufactured conflict. The Zionists displaced and dispossessed the Palestinian people, who had been an overwhelming majority in Palestine for centuries on end, in order to establish Israel in Palestine. What did the Zionists expect to happen? They not only stirred the hornets' nest, they built their own nest among the hornets after destroying the their nest.

Its been 7 months to the war. And i hope people learn more from what this man has to say and allow liberation to form in people's heart because this war needs the truth and facts to win.

If they continue it will be the end of Israel. I hate to say it and I have always supported Israel but weak ass war killings with easy destruction humanitarian assistance is unacceptable. I know it’s upper assholes who get the soldiers fired up from the old days. Get real ! Wake up people ! I can say had that been in any other countries court, they would be spending 10 to 15 years in jail and banned from ever teaching again. Based on the lawsuit, Mary Podlesny got 1 week suspension without pay, Tom Blauert got 2 weeks without pay and William Davis got a verbal warning. Which is absolutely pathetic. They should have gone to jail.

Is there an opportunity to put an interpretation correction? For example, see 7 min and 33 secs, the presenter said "I could lecture a lot on Deaf culture all day and night until I become an old man" but the interpreter said "But I am an old man and this wont be easy thing to do" Ouch! Accountability is important and hopefully someone can do the "interpretation correction" on this. It is so important to understand we, deaf people, have to deal with in our world utilizing sign language interpreters.

Umkhonto we Sizwe, the paramilitary arm of the ANC, killed 67 civilians in all of its years of operation, usually targeting critical military infrastructure. They also advocated for a secular democratic government and an egalitarian society. Hamas, since it took power in the Gaza Strip, has fired thousands of rockets indiscriminately into civilian areas, and regularly commits terrorist attacks against civilians in Israel. Hamas also advocates for a fundamentalists Islamic government with sharia law, and the genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Jews from the Jordan to the Mediterranean.

I first learned about Bill Strickland from my pottery professor in college, Frank Ross, the man Strickland says saved his life. At one time, my ex did a lot of picture framing for him --I think mostly for the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild building. Bill is one of my own personal heroes. He has the heart and perseverance to imagine something and carry it through. Then when an opportunity pops up (like John Heinz's offer) he runs with it and makes it into a culinary school, his school's lunch program, and even a catering service to make money to run school programs. He's even won Grammies for jazz recorded in the school's studios and several musicians have donated all proceeds from their recordings to Manchester/Bidwell. It's almost as if such a man could not be real in this day and age. But he is and I am proud to have met him on several occasions.
